Kansas City's Allover present their debut release - Afterimage. Waves of accordant distortion ride over chanting rhythms and lo-fi hiss. Meditative crackles of familiar dissidence roll alongside droning melodies. I like to think of Afterimage as the offspring of Kawabata Makoto's ambient work, early Faust and Wolf Eyes at their most accessible.
